This policy applies to anyone authorized to publish or sell a course on ZEPHY. Instructor status is subject to platform approval.
1. Instructor admission
Instructor applicants must provide accurate information about their identity, experience and intended teaching topics. ZEPHY may approve, request additional information, reject or revoke instructor status when platform standards are not met.
2. Review before publication
A course created by an instructor is not automatically published. ZEPHY may review the title, description, teaching quality, materials, presentation, price, compliance and usage rights before publication. A course may be returned to the instructor for corrections.
3. Revenue share
The standard economic split is 70% to the instructor and 30% to the ZEPHY platform. This split applies to the distributable amount actually collected for the course sale after mandatory transaction-specific adjustments such as applicable taxes, payment-provider fees, technical reversals, fraudulent payments or legally required refunds where applicable.
ZEPHY's 30% share supports platform operations, hosting, technical tools, payment processing, administration, support, maintenance, general catalog visibility and other operations required to distribute courses.
4. Instructor payouts
Instructor earnings become payable only after the related customer payment has been collected and validated. Payouts are made according to the schedule, minimum threshold and payment method communicated in the instructor area or agreed with ZEPHY. Amounts affected by fraud, a valid dispute or a mandatory refund may be excluded from earnings or reconciled against a later payout.
5. Pricing and promotions
Final displayed prices must comply with platform commercial rules. ZEPHY may offer general promotions or marketing campaigns. If a promotion changes the instructor's compensation basis, its terms should be displayed or communicated before application, except for technical corrections or legal requirements.
6. Instructor intellectual property
Instructors retain the rights they legitimately hold in their content. By publishing on ZEPHY, the instructor grants the platform a non-exclusive license to host, display, distribute, promote and make the course available to learners as part of operating and marketing the service.
7. Originality and third-party rights
Instructors warrant that they have the right to use all text, images, videos, music, presentations, software, documents and other materials included in their courses. Plagiarism, unauthorized copying, pirated content or infringement of third-party rights is prohibited.
8. Use of artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence may be used as an assistance tool, but instructors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, quality and legality of the final content. Mass-generated, misleading, inaccurate or low-value educational content may be rejected or removed.
9. Teaching quality and updates
Instructors must provide content that matches the published description, is structured, understandable and reasonably current. If content becomes clearly outdated or contains a material error, ZEPHY may request corrections or temporarily suspend the course.
10. Learner relationships
Instructors must act professionally and respectfully. They may not harass users, collect learner data for unauthorized purposes, bypass platform payments, improperly move learners to outside payment systems or use learner information for unsolicited marketing.
11. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks
ZEPHY applies its Refund Policy. If a refund is legally required, a payment is reversed or fraudulent, or a chargeback is confirmed, the related revenue may be removed from the sharing base or offset against future instructor earnings.
12. Suspension or removal
ZEPHY may suspend a course or instructor account for fraud, intellectual-property infringement, false information, illegal or dangerous content, sales manipulation, harm to users, payment circumvention or repeated violations of platform rules.
13. Instructor departure
An instructor may request closure of their instructor space. Rights already acquired by learners who validly purchased a course must be considered when content is removed. ZEPHY may retain the elements strictly necessary to preserve previously sold access, transaction obligations, security and dispute management.
